Michael Gogliotti has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions. Michael is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at VitalSource since January 2023. Previously, they worked at Follett Higher Education for ten years, where they held multiple roles. From April 2019 to December 2022, they served as the Vice President of Strategy, Ed Tech, and Academic Programs, responsible for managing revenue-generating products and leading strategic relationships. From December 2016 to April 2019, they were the Director of Academic Programs, Product Management, and Partnerships, where they built and managed the Follett ACCESS program. Before that, from September 2013 to December 2016, they worked as a Senior Product Manager, launching academic technology products and driving innovation within higher education. In addition to their roles in the education industry, Michael also worked at Redbox as a Product Manager from August 2012 to September 2013, where they designed and implemented revenue-generating roadmaps. Michael also served as the Chief of Staff & Project Manager from October 2011 to August 2012, creating and facilitating the Product Governance Process. Michael started their career at Redbox in January 2005, working in Product Support & Inventory Management. Furthermore, Michael was a Board Observer at Lumen Learning from April 2017 to December 2022.
Michael Gogliotti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2004. Michael later completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago between 2010 and 2012.
