Ruth Hearn

Ruth Hearn has extensive experience in eCommerce operations and management. Ruth is currently working as the Director of eCommerce Operations at VitalSource since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of eCommerce Manager at the same company starting from April 2017.

Before joining VitalSource, Ruth worked as an eCommerce Omni-Channel Marketing Manager at Graphik Dimensions from May 2016 to April 2017.

From February 2016 to May 2016, Ruth held the position of eCommerce Director at Charles & Colvard, Ltd. Ruth also worked as an eCommerce Manager at the same company from October 2014 to February 2016. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing feeds, implementing SEO/SEM/retargeting strategies, and overseeing site performance. Ruth also played a key role in merchandising and marketing planning.

Prior to their time at Charles & Colvard, Ruth worked as an eCommerce Operations Manager at C&R Sports Inc from December 2009 to October 2014.

Ruth also has experience outside the eCommerce industry, having worked as a Business/IT ESL Instructor at TransAtlantic Communications from October 2012 to October 2013.

Ruth Hearn completed their education at the University of Cambridge in 2013. Ruth then pursued a field of study in Political Science at Appalachian State University. Later, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Wake Technical Community College. In terms of certifications, Ruth obtained the Google Analytics Certification from Google in September 2015, and the Google Analytics 4 Certification from Skillshop in March 2023.
