Robert Arnold

Robert Arnold is a distinguished academic and medical professional currently serving as a Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since May 2024. Arnold co-founded VitalTalk in September 2001 and continues to serve as a Board member. Previously, Arnold held the position of Past President at the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) from 2006 to May 2024. Complementing an extensive career at the University of Pittsburgh and its School of Medicine, where Arnold was a Professor from July 1988 to May 2024, Arnold also contributed as a Board member for the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (ABHPM) from 2000 to 2007. Arnold obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City between 1976 and 1983.
