David Henry has a wealth of experience in software quality assurance and testing. David began their career in 1998 as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Fiserv Lending Solutions, formerly RSA (Remarketing Services of America). During their time there, they tested and documented multiple COTS and homegrown applications in a Citrix and SQL environment using QA applications including Load Runner and Test Tracks. David also gathered business requirements, wrote test plans, test cases, and use cases, as well as performed Beta, Functional, Regression, and User Acceptance testing. In 2005, they moved to Meritain Health, where they tested and documented multiple COTS and homegrown applications in an MS environment with integration and backend applications in Linux and MS SQL Server. David then moved to Synacor in 2010, where they served as Lead Test Engineer of client related projects, custom web portal sites, CMS upgrades and integrations, email platform migrations and upgrades. David managed the weekly and monthly code release process and determined and reported testing coverage and release readiness to Change Management board. In 2013, they moved to Liazon as a Quality Engineer, where they acted as Lead Test Engineer for frontend, client facing projects, custom health benefits exchange, email integration and releases of updates and upgrades. David also authored and implemented quality program from scratch for a mid-size startup, including building of a small quality team, writing process and procedure documentation and QA and development team training in new quality assurance program, including requirement and test plan authoring, defect tracking, release readiness and risk analysis and traceability and root cause analysis. In 2014, they moved to First Niagara Bank as a Quality Assurance Analyst II, where they served as Lead Test Engineer for complex credit card and mobile banking application projects, custom portal sites and product releases for updates and upgrades. David oversaw daily and weekly project and executive reporting processes as well as determined testing coverage and resourcing needs, including management of contract and offshore test teams. In 2017, they moved to Clinical Support Services as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, where they developed and implemented enterprise-level quality process and procedures, including requirements and traceability, RCA process, development code review and peer review process and business reviews and feature demos to build a culture of quality. David also oversaw daily and weekly projects and executive-level reporting processes as well as determined testing coverage for bi-weekly sprints and major projects. In 2018, they moved to Centene Corporation formally Fidelis Care as a Software QA Engineer, where they acted as Test Lead for multiple application redesign projects as well as UI/UX and accessibility coordination. David also led test team for multiple application and public client-facing websites and member, provider, and broker portals and conceptualized, championed, and executed a company-wide accessibility testing initiative to meet ADA compliance on all user and client-facing websites and portals. Currently, they are a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at VitalTech®.
David Henry obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix between 2006 and 2009.
