Candace Ramos has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Candace started their career as a Waitress at Outback Steakhouse, where they provided excellent customer service and assisted in training new staff members. Following this, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Apria Healthcare, responding to inquiries and orders from referral sources and patients.
Candace then joined Praxair Healthcare Services as a Territory Manager, where they established and built profitable relationships with various medical clinics and developed and executed a strategic plan to grow the respiratory business. Candace also worked as a Sales Representative at Clear Choice Home Medical Equipment, where they established profitable relationships with healthcare professionals and created and implemented training procedures for customer service representatives.
Moving forward, they joined USAA as a Financial Foundations Associate, providing member service and closing product sales that met members' needs and contributed to their financial security. Candace then joined Epic Health Services, Inc., where they held various roles including Client Service Supervisor, Lead Client Service Supervisor, Executive Director, and Client Services Manager. In these roles, they managed staff, created positive environments to promote customer service and client retention, and oversaw the care of pediatric home healthcare clients.
Currently, Candace is working at VITAS Healthcare as a Senior Director of Market Development, where they utilize their expertise to develop and expand the market.
Candace Ramos earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Candace also obtained a certification as an Advance Care Planning Facilitator from Respecting Choices® in the year 2018.
