Sarmad Ali

Sarmad Ali is a skilled professional in chemical engineering with diverse experience in process development and bioprocess engineering. Currently serving as a Process Development Engineer at VitroLabs Inc since March 2023, Sarmad previously worked at Culture Biosciences, managing fermentation projects across various scales. Sarmad also held the role of Project Manager for a senior capstone project at UCLA, leading a team of engineers in the design and economic analysis of an $860 million ammonia production facility. Additionally, Sarmad served as Design Lead for a soap production batch-reactor project and contributed to the development of a competitive consumer product. Sarmad graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UCLA in 2021, following studies at Evergreen Valley College.
