Andreas Zaphiris

Andreas Zaphiris possesses extensive experience in IT operations and system engineering, currently serving as the Director of System Engineering and Head of Operations at Viva.com since March 2004. Prior to this role, Andreas held the position of Head of IT Operations at Viva Services from 2004 to April 2018 and was the Head of IT at Polygon LTD from August 2001 to February 2004. Additional experience includes working in IT Operations for the Greek Army's Research and Technology Department and as a Computer Lab Administrator at the University of Laverne in Athens. Andreas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Laverne, obtained between 1997 and 2006. Technical skills include Microsoft and MySQL database administration, systems administration for both Microsoft and Linux, Cisco networking, Linux-based SAN/NAS development, and VoIP systems support.
