Kristine Slater

Kristine Slater is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. Currently serving as the Director of Bacchus Marsh Grammar since March 2023, Kristine oversees a not-for-profit organization with approximately 3,500 students across three campuses in Melbourne. Concurrently, Kristine holds senior engineering roles at Viva Energy Australia, focusing on strategic business development and technical management at the Geelong facility. Previous positions include Process Engineering Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Engineering and Technical Manager at LyondellBasell, and Process Engineer roles at Huntsman Chemical Company and Fluor. Kristine possesses a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and a Diploma of Management from Gordon Institute of Tafe, reflecting a strong educational foundation in engineering and management.
