Marcela van der Beek-Armean has extensive experience in human resources and workplace environment management. Marcela worked at Vivare as the Head of Human Resources & Workplace Environment, where they led and managed the HR department and internal facilities department. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing corporate HR strategies and designing workplace facilities plans. Prior to Vivare, Marcela worked at Woonbedrijf ieder1 as a Human Resources Manager, where they focused on defining and developing the business' people strategy and policies. Marcela also served as the Head of HR Advisory Team at Coöperatie VGZ, overseeing a team of HR business partners. Marcela's earlier experience includes roles such as Head of Expert Team and Advisor in Human Resources Management at Dienst Landelijk Gebied and Business Research & Information Analyst at Menzis.
Marcela van der Beek-Armean has a diverse education history. In 1990, they attended the University of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania, where they studied Econometrics and Operations Research. Marcela completed their studies at the university in 1996.
In 2006 and 2007, Marcela pursued further education in Human Resources Management at NCOI University of Applied Sciences.
From 2015 to 2016, Marcela attended Nyenrode Business University, focusing on Change Management.
Marcela enrolled in a postgraduate program for Executive Team Coaching at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2017 to 2018.
Additionally, Marcela engaged in a program in Organisatiekunde at Sioo, interuniversitair centrum voor organisatie- en veranderkunde, from an unknown start year to 2014.
In 2020, Marcela commenced the Postgraduate Program - Governance Opleiding voor Commissarissen & Bestuurders at Wagner. Currently, they are anticipating their enrollment at Public Academy in 2023 to study Bestuur en organisatie.
