Inc. since August 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director, Head of Computational Chemistry at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals from April 2021 to June 2022. Igor also worked as a Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from April 2019 to April 2021 and as an Associate Director at EMD Serono, Inc. from May 2016 to March 2019. Before that, they served as a Principal Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company from June 2012 to April 2016. Igor has a proven track record as a Senior Principal Research Investigator at EMD Serono, Inc. from July 2009 to June 2012, a Principal Scientist at Pfizer Global Research & Development from November 2003 to February 2009, and a Product Manager at Accelrys from October 2000 to October 2003. Igor started their career as a Post-doctoral Research Assistant at the University of California San Diego from September 1999 to July 2000.
Igor Mochalkin obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Michigan State University from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) between 1989 and 1994. Additionally, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
