Jim Farmer

Jim Farmer, CTS-D, CTS-I, currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Vivo Technologies since November 2023 and previously held the position of Senior AV Engineer. Prior experience includes roles such as Solutions Development Engineer at Electrosonic from April 2022 to November 2023, AV Engineer at Walker Telecomm Inc. from October 2020 to April 2022, and Sr. Project Engineer at Anderson Audio Visual between March 2017 and October 2020. Jim also worked as Sr. Systems Engineer at One Workplace from August 2012 to February 2017 and as Systems Engineer, serving as the sole technical staff for the Northern California office, at Integrated Media Systems from September 2008 to August 2012. Before that, Jim owned USmedia systems from November 2004 to September 2008, focusing on AV integration for corporate conferencing and meeting rooms. Jim's earlier experience includes Sr. AV Consultant at Thorburn Associates from March 2002 to October 2004 and Installation Supervisor at Riverview Systems Group, Inc. from March 1994 to March 2002, where responsibilities included onsite design, supervision, control system programming, and system testing.
