Rachel Bour has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical engineering. Rachel is currently a Senior Scientist at Vivodyne since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Biomedical Engineering PhD Candidate at the University of Virginia from August 2017 to May 2023, where they conducted research in the field of regenerative therapeutics for skeletal muscle regeneration. Rachel also worked as a Biomedical Engineering Research Intern at DEKA Research & Development from October to December 2020. Rachel has experience as a Laboratory Research Technician at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from September 2016 to August 2017. Rachel also had previous roles as a Summer Research Intern at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from May to July 2015, and as a Research Intern at Children's National Hospital from November 2014 to May 2015.
Rachel Bour obtained a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Virginia in 2017 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
