John Carmelite

John Carmelite has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John began their career in 2006 as a Project Manager at invivodata and then moved on to Giant Eagle, where they served as a Senior Project Manager. At Giant Eagle, they supervised project teams and managed IT projects for various departments. In 2012, they joined Mylan as the Head of Corporate Functions IT, where they worked closely with top executives to develop IT strategic plans and guide acquisition integrations. In 2018, they joined Intalere as the Vice President of Enterprise Applications, leading successful digital transformations and product ownership. Currently, they are working at Vizient, Inc as the AVP, Service Line Lead - Commercial IT and also served as the Senior Business Relationship Director.

John Carmelite has a Masters in Public Administration from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Juniata College. John also holds additional certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance (obtained in April 2011) and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (obtained in December 2004).
