Alina Smirnova

Alina Smirnova has a strong background in data engineering and analysis. Alina currently holds the position of Senior Data Engineer at VIZIO, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Accenture as a Data Engineer at @Meta, from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they were employed at ONE COMPUTE, INC as a Data Engineer and Data Analyst, where they focused on analyzing cryptocurrency data using Python and various APIs, from 2017 to 2019. Alina also has experience as a Data Analyst at modarola.ru, where they applied machine learning algorithms for customer segmentation and conducted sales analysis using SQL databases, from 2016 to 2017. Alina'searliest work experience was at Allianz Russia, where they worked as a Credit Risk Underwriter, evaluating and underwriting credit limits and analyzing financial data, from 2009 to 2012.

Alina Smirnova obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the State Academic University of Humanitarian Science (former Republic Center of Humanitarian Education) between the years 2005 and 2009. Alina then pursued a Master's degree in Economics at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2019, they enrolled in the Data Analytics Boot Camp at UC Berkeley Extension, where they are currently studying. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in November 2018.
