Brian Reed

Brian Reed is a Senior Director of Cloud Engineering, Architecture Standards, and Knowledge Group at VIZIO. Brian initiated the Architecture Standards & Knowledge group to improve internal communication and work standards, and led the team in developing cloud APIs for VIZIO's first-party apps. Prior to VIZIO, Brian was the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder at Cognitive Networks, where Brian played a key role in creating the Automatic Content Recognition system. Brian also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at iNDELIBLE Media and as a Founder at Sterling Scott, where Brian successfully implemented a remote medical image viewing system. Brian holds a BS in Computer Engineering with a Software Emphasis from the University of Florida.
