Ravikumar Thangavel

Ravikumar Thangavel has extensive work experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles. Ravikumar is currently the Director of Software Engineering at VIZIO, a position they have held since January 2019. Prior to their current role, they worked at Verizon Data Services as a Software Technical Manager from May 2012 to December 2018. Before that, Ravikumar was a Technical Lead at Wipro Technologies from November 2005 to May 2012. At Wipro, they worked on various projects including implementing user interface applications for set-top boxes, creating remote debugging tools, and developing application modules upgrader based on ELF spec.

Ravikumar Thangavel obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Periyar University, India, completing their studies from 1999 to 2003.
