Ian Green

Ian Green has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Ian began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UCSB Department of Geography in 2009, followed by a Regulatory Intern role at Liquid Environmental Solutions in 2010. In 2011, they became an Environmental Engineer at Amec Foster Wheeler and then pursued a Graduate Student role at the Darden School of Business in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Business Process Engineer at MITRE, where they supported agile product development and designed policies, procedures, and processes. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they built Python applications and led development and implementation of enterprise services for data recovery and delivery. Currently, they are a Software Engineer, Analytics and Product at VIZION.

Ian Green obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Hydrologic Science & Policy (Environmental Engineering) from UC Santa Barbara in 2010. Ian then went on to receive a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2013. In 2019, they obtained an Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October, and an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from AWS in March.
