Mike Young

Mike Young joined VMS BioMarketing in 2022 to lead the engineering organization, spearheading strategy and execution in support of business operations and client initiatives. He collaborates across multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative technology solutions while advancing security, application architecture and IT processes and maturity. He is an entrepreneurial and inspiring technology leader who is both a motivational coach and a division head who drives insightful, results-oriented products and services.

Just prior to joining VMS, Mike was a developer advocate at Arctype in Washington, DC. Arctype is a fast, fun, modern SQL client for developers and teams. Prior to Arctype, he also was the founder and CEO of PearCircuit, a software company specializing in digital product development for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Mike is a fellow and former Executive Director of the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation. MDLF was created to encourage and instill leadership that lifts the arc of progress in Indiana, as was done by Indiana’s 49th governor. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a BS in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical/space engineering. He was student body president and active in a wide array of extracurriculars, while also completing his degree and running his company.
