Subhrakanthi Chakravarty

Subhrakanthi Chakravarty has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Subhrakanthi has held various roles in different companies, primarily within the telecommunications and consumer electronics industries.

Chakravarty started their career at Canon EMEA as a Sales Engineer in Kolkata from 1995 to 1997. Subhrakanthi then worked as an Executive in Home Appliances at BPL Limited, focusing on the Assam and North East regions, from 1997 to 1999.

Afterward, they joined Samsung Electronics as an Assistant Manager for Consumer Electronics in Kolkata and West Bengal from 1999 to 2004. During this time, they also worked at Vodafone as the Zonal Business Manager for the North Bengal zone from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, they served as the Prepaid Sales Head for the West Bengal circle at Vodafone from 2009 to 2010.

Chakravarty's career then took their to Aircel, where they served as the Deputy General Manager and Sales Head for the Bihar & Jharkhand Circle from 2010 to 2011. Subhrakanthi later joined Idea Cellular Ltd as the Senior General Manager and Sales Head for the Bihar & Jharkhand Circle from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they held the role of Associate Vice President and Sales Head for the Kolkata circle at Idea Cellular Ltd.

Currently, Chakravarty is working at Vodafone Idea Limited as the Vice President and Cluster Sales Head for the East region, a position they have held since September 2018.

Subhrakanthi Chakravarty completed their Higher Secondary education at Hijli High School from 1983 to 1989. Subhrakanthi then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University, which they completed from 1990 to 1994.
