Tarun Gupta

Tarun Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Tarun currently holds the position of Vice President - IoT Planning, Ops & Commercial at Vodafone Idea Limited since October 2021. Prior to this, Tarun served as the Head of Software Engineering at L&T Technology Services Limited from August 2018 to October 2021, where they managed global teams and played a key role in the development of an IoT platform for smart building solutions. Tarun also worked as an Associate Director - Engineering, CoE IoT at Happiest Minds Technologies from February 2017 to August 2018. Tarun is also a Co-Founder of HSG Technologies (P) Ltd, where they started their venture and developed various indigenous products for multiple industries from November 2007 to December 2016. In addition, they have experience as a Technical Leader at HCL Technologies, providing technical support and working on projects related to embedded systems, and as a Software Engineer at Compucom Software Pvt. Ltd.

Tarun Gupta holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics from PES College of Engineering, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Before that, they completed their High School education with a focus on Science at Ingraham Institute English School from 1993 to 1994. Tarun also holds a PG Diploma in Advanced Computing with a specialization in Computer Software Technology from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC). In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in "Body Language for Leaders" and "Leading without Formal Authority" from LinkedIn in the year 2018.
