Sampada Basarkar

Sampada Basarkar serves as the Director of Products and Platform Engineering at Vodafone, overseeing a substantial organization of over 1,000 personnel with a budget exceeding 100 million Euros, focusing on innovations in IoT, SD-WAN, and other advanced technologies. Sampada has been actively involved with Women in Cloud and Athena Alliance, contributing to the empowerment and leadership of women in the tech industry. Prior experience includes significant roles at IBM, where Sampada advanced from QA Manager to Executive Director, spearheading engineering and customer success initiatives in the Data and AI Platform, and managing teams that generated over $300 million in revenue through Big Data solutions. Sampada is also recognized for building support organizations at Exeros Inc and leading customer support teams throughout a diverse career spanning various technology firms. Sampada holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
