Shailesh Abhyankar

Shailesh Abhyankar is an experienced telecommunications professional with a comprehensive background in planning, designing, and managing transport networks. Currently serving as Associate Vice President Planning-Transport at Vodafone Corporate in Mumbai since May 2006, Shailesh is responsible for the evolution of transport architecture across various domains including wireless microwave and wire-line technologies. Previous positions include Sr Manager for transport projects at Reliance Infocomm, Manager-Tx Operations at Idea Cellular Ltd, Sr Systems Engineer at Wireless Facilities Inc. in the United States, and Assistant Manager at Tata Telecom Limited. Shailesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
