Willie Stegmann

Willie Stegmann currently serves as the Director of IT Strategy & Architecture at Vodafone since November 2022 and is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme Foundation NPC. With a rich experience in IT leadership, Stegmann held the position of Group CIO at Vodacom from October 2017 to November 2022 and was a key member of the Vodafone Senior Leadership Team. Stegmann's extensive career includes significant roles at Standard Bank Group, where responsibilities ranged from CIO of Personal and Business Bank SA to Director of various transformation and operational programs. Formerly, Stegmann contributed as a Non-Executive Director at BankservAfrica and Nexio South Africa, and was the Managing Director at Gijima and General Manager at Absa. Stegmann holds multiple advanced degrees, including an M.Com in Business Management from the University of Johannesburg and an Advanced Management Programme from MIT Sloan School of Management and the University of Oxford.
