Sharon Donaghey has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sharon'smost recent position was as the Chief People Officer at Voice Systems Engineering, where they led a team of over 100 employees and 300 consultants worldwide. Sharon was responsible for creating and executing talent strategies, leveraging technology and data, and optimizing talent needs. Prior to this, Sharon served as a Senior Human Resources Consultant, advising US-based businesses on talent strategy, talent acquisition, organizational development, and wellness initiatives. Sharon also worked as the Global Talent Acquisition Manager at Payment Express and as a Partnership Manager at Localist. Sharon has experience in learning and knowledge management at Fonterra and was a Business Change Manager at Telecom New Zealand. In the early stages of their career, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant for various companies, providing training, organizational development consulting, and recruitment services.
Sharon Donaghey attended Massey University from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a field of study in Business Psychology. Sharon then continued their education at Massey University from 2000 to 2002, completing a Master of Arts (MA) in Organisational Psychology.
