Davide Taricco

Davide Taricco has a diverse background in data science and research. Davide is currently employed as a Junior Data Scientist Engineer at VOISEED since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Torino from January 2020 to October 2020. In this role, their research focused on the application of compression and analysis techniques to images and data acquired from satellites and astronomical instruments. Davide was responsible for defining the requirements for a multispectral optical imaging system and studying and implementing deep learning reconstruction algorithms. Before their position at Politecnico di Torino, Davide worked as a Student Trainee at Blue Reply from March 2019 to July 2019. During this internship, they primarily focused on analyzing and using machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for image recognition, including modifying pre-trained neural networks and developing object detectors.
