Carey Anderson has a wealth of experience in the field of regulatory affairs and quality control. Carey has held various leadership roles in different companies, starting with Biogen Idec in 2001, where they served as an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs. Carey then moved on to Merrimack Pharmaceuticals and Acceleron Pharma, where they established and led the regulatory affairs operations. At Baxter, they served as the Senior Director of Global Regulatory Affairs for IV Solutions and Nutrition, overseeing a diverse portfolio of products. Carey later joined Amgen as the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs Lead for Hematology/Oncology, responsible for two globally marketed oncology products. After founding their own consulting firm, SmithAnderson Consulting, they went on to work for Biothera as the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Most recently, they founded and served as the President of SmithAnderson Regulatory Consulting, providing consulting services in regulatory affairs. Throughout their career, Carey has demonstrated a strong ability to develop and implement regulatory strategies, provide leadership, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Carey Anderson completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from Drexel University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Later, from 1994 to 1997, Carey pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biology at New York Medicine Jobs.
