Freddie Sherratt

Freddie Sherratt is a Senior Software Engineer at Volant Autonomy since April 2021, with a strong background in engineering and research. Previously, Freddie completed a PhD at the University of Bath, focused on LSTM machine learning techniques for lower limb prostheses. Other notable experiences include working as an Engineer at Amphibian Technology, where responsibilities spanned mechanical design, power electronics, and app development. Additionally, Freddie held roles as an Electronics Engineer at DCA Design International, and a Student Design Engineer at Avon Rubber plc, alongside serving as a Student Tour Guide at the University of Bath. Freddie earned a Master of Engineering in Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Bath, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electromechanical Engineering from the same institution.
