Evan Cann

Evan Cann is an experienced software engineer and director currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Volantio since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Engineering Manager and Staff Software Engineer at FourKites, Inc., where key contributions involved directing Kubernetes deployments and integrating Blue Newt's software into FourKites’ ecosystem. Earlier positions at Blue Newt Software Technologies included leading the technical team for the Yard Insight application and pioneering React functional components usage. Early career internships at Apple, Motion Math, and TrickPlay Inc. provided foundational skills in iOS development and application creation. Evan holds a B.S.E. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, earned in 2015.
