Luis Brenes

Luis Brenes is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing and developing IT solutions. Currently serving as IT Manager at Volio & Trejos Asociados, S.A. since March 2017, Luis leads the research, definition, and deployment of innovative IT solutions. Prior to this, Luis held various roles at Grupo Nación from April 2007 to March 2017, including Software Development Manager, IT Security Manager, and Software Architect. In these positions, Luis defined and implemented procedures for high-quality IT solution development, established security protocols to safeguard data, and created architectural frameworks to support IT initiatives. Luis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, earned between 1997 and 2003.
