Joe K Wilson, III, PE, CPM, is a seasoned transportation engineering professional with extensive experience in design and land development. Currently serving as Senior Engineer and Transportation Engineering Design and Land Development Leader at Volkert, Inc. since February 2023, Joe has previously held roles as a Civil Engineering Consultant at JAD Engineering and as Senior Transportation Engineer at Kimley-Horn. Joe's background includes a significant tenure as Transportation Director for the City of Concord, NC, and as District Engineer for NCDOT. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, obtained in 1989.
