Elmar-Marius Licharz

Elmar Licharz serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Volkswagen Group of America and the NAR region at Volkswagen of America, Inc., where Licharz has been integral since February 2019. In addition, Licharz holds a board position with Power Co Holding USA and serves on the Board of Directors for Electrify America. Previous roles include Chairman of Volkswagen Canada and various leadership positions at Volkswagen AG, including Head of Digital Finance and Head of Product Controlling. Licharz's extensive experience is complemented by supervisory board memberships at IAV GmbH and Sitech, along with a strategic background as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and as an Army Officer in the Bundeswehr. Educational credentials feature a Diploma from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität, a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Kassel, and a high school diploma from Wilhelmsgymnasium Kassel.
