Evan Skelsey

Evan Skelsey is an accomplished Hardware Developer at Voltera since May 2021, with a strong background in biosensing technology and product development. Prior to this, Evan founded Illume Labs, where innovative wearable biosensing technology was designed and tested, resulting in significant advancements in system sensitivity and successful firmware development. Evan's experience also includes a Project Controls and Management Internship at Kinectrics, where software solutions were implemented to enhance project reporting and efficiency, and tutoring at McMaster Engineering Society. Earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University in 2020, Evan demonstrates a commitment to technology and education through varied roles, including development work with Kinectrics and customer service positions at Costco and ONG Conseil Canada Inc.
