Full Stack Data Scientist at Volumental

Dimitris Manolidis has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Dimitris began their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2004. In 2008, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2016, they joined Veltio as an Application Consultant and Data Scientist. In this role, they worked on the company's flagship product, which focused on Supply Chain automation and optimization. Dimitris developed Python code to process and analyze large amounts of data, and automated the loading and transformation process of the clients' data. Dimitris also designed several algorithms for the product and led on-site design sessions and presentations with clients for two different projects. In 2020, they joined Volumental as a Full Stack Data Scientist.

Dimitris Manolidis obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2001 to 2006. Dimitris then went on to obtain a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis from 2007 to 2009. Dimitris then continued their education at Washington University in St. Louis, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from 2009 to 2014. In addition, they obtained certifications in Statistical Learning from Stanford University in April 2016, Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2016, Kaggle R Tutorial on Machine Learning from DataCamp, and an edX Verified Certificate for The Analytics Edge from edX.
