Tomer London has a comprehensive work experience spanning over 24 years. Tomer started their career in 1998 as a Computer Operator at Pelephone, where they worked until 2003. In their role as a Computer Operator, they were responsible for various database management tasks, such as maintenance and support.
After that, Tomer joined Pelephone as a DBA, where they worked from 2003 to 2008. As a DBA, they administered large-scale, mission-critical OLTP/DWH database environments, including Oracle and SQL Server databases on various operating systems. Tomer was responsible for designing, optimizing, managing, and upgrading databases. Additionally, they handled backup and restore operations using various methods and created database replications for different purposes. Tomer also provided 24/7 support for database-related issues and led project teams.
In 2008, Tomer joined Storwize as a DBA, where they worked until 2010. Tomer'sresponsibilities included performance testing of NAS and SAN storage systems using databases. Tomer designed and created large-scale Oracle environments and tested Oracle features with storage systems.
From 2010 to 2019, Tomer worked at IBM as a DBA in the Storage Performance Group. Tomer'swork primarily involved performance testing of IBM SAN storage systems using databases. Tomer designed and created large-scale Oracle environments, conducted data generation and backups, and optimized tuning on various IBM storage systems. Tomer also tested Oracle features with storage systems.
In 2020, Tomer joined SQream as a Performance Lab Manager, where they worked until 2022. As the Performance Lab Manager, they oversaw performance testing activities and managed the team.
Tomer London attended The Technological College of Beer-Sheva from 2000 to 2001. Tomer obtained a degree in Computer Engineering during this time.
