Susan Phillips

St. Director Of Community Outreach at Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System

Susan Phillips has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and community outreach sectors. Susan started their career in 1991 at Cumberland Mental Health/Volunteer Behavioral Health as a Center Director. Susan later joined Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System as a Case Manager and then became a Clinical Services Coordinator. Susan also served as the President of the Board of Directors at Sumner County Anti-Drug Coalition and held the position of Vice-President before that. In 2014, Susan was the Past President of Gallatin Noon Rotary. Susan is currently working as the Director of Community Outreach at Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System.

Susan Phillips completed their education with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in the field of Social Work in 1991. Susan also obtained a degree in Sociology from MTSU during the same time period. From 2001 to 2004, Susan attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they earned a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree. Prior to their tertiary education, Susan graduated from Smith County High School in 1987.
