Laura Petford

Laura Petford is an experienced Volunteer Manager at Volunteering Matters since June 2017, contributing to the positive social impact of the UK's leading national volunteering charity. Previously, Laura held roles at MyGo, including Monitoring Officer and MyGo Coach, where responsibilities involved supporting young individuals in education, training, and employment. Prior experience includes positions at vInspired, where Laura worked as Youth Involvement Coordinator and Future Jobs Fund Support Officer, and as Development Officer at Brunelcare, focusing on project work and stakeholder engagement. Laura started as Student Community Action Coordinator at the University of Bristol's Students' Union after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Classics from the University of Bristol in 2007.
