Sergio A. Torres Ms, Rdn

Sergio A. Torres, MS, RDN, serves as the Sr. Manager of Nutrition Programs at Volunteers of America Colorado, a position held since May 2023. As the owner of Rocky Mtn. Coqui since October 2019, Sergio established the first Puerto Rican food truck in Northern Colorado, overseeing daily operations. Previous roles include Health Equity Coordinator at Larimer County Department of Health and Environment, where initiatives focused on service delivery for marginalized communities, and COVID-19 Outreach Specialist for the Latinx community. Sergio has a background in public health nutrition, holding a Master of Science from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor's Degree from Colorado State University.
