Tara Lusignan

Tara Lusignan is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in supportive services and mental health care. Currently serving as a Supervisory Case Manager for Supportive Services for Veteran Families at Volunteers of America Colorado since April 2021, Tara has previously held roles including Lead Case Manager and Housing Case Manager at Irving Street Women’s Shelter. Prior experience includes working as a Mental Health Technician at Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, where trauma-informed care principles were applied, and various positions at Turtle Creek Recovery Center, encompassing Facilities and Kitchen Manager as well as Substance Abuse Technician. Tara's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Austin, a Certificate in the Business of Healthcare, and ongoing studies for a Master of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver, with plans to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Colorado Denver.
