Cynde Herman

Cynde Herman has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles in organizations such as Volunteers of America Los Angeles, University of Redlands/Keck School of Medicine of USC, Strategic Outcomes Learning, Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), and Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

Cynde began their career as the Founder of Strategic Outcomes Learning in 2016, where they focused on developing healthy and profitable businesses through education and training programs, organizational strategy, assessments, and business coaching.

Prior to that, Cynde held multiple roles at the University of Redlands/Keck School of Medicine of USC, including Adjunct Professor and Chief Administrative Officer. In these positions, they analyzed the structure of divisions and departments, created efficiencies, and implemented process and business improvement initiatives.

Cynde also served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Volunteers of America Los Angeles starting in 2017, leading the organization's people strategies and overseeing various HR functions.

Cynde's experience at Children's Hospital Los Angeles included roles such as Director of Talent Management & Organization Development and Administrative Director of Surgery. In these positions, they implemented programs and initiatives that increased profitability, patient service excellence, and employee engagement.

Their earlier work experience at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California included positions such as Chief Operating Officer of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Division Administrator of the Divisions of Cardiology and Endocrinology.
