Daniel Pires Fernandes is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Lead Maintainability Engineer at Volvo Group Trucks Technology since August 2010, Daniel has held various leadership roles that include Acting Manager of Maintainability Engineering and Feature Leader for Maintainability and Diagnostics. Responsibilities encompass diagnostics development for vehicle dynamics and electrical systems in heavy-duty vehicles, as well as leading cross-functional technical teams across multiple countries. Daniel's background includes volunteer work as a Nordics Ambassador for Move To Gothenburg and experience as a Global Trainee at Robert Bosch GmbH, where implementation of quality tools and methodologies significantly improved processes. Daniel holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology of Parana, an MBA in Project Management, a postgraduate degree in Automotive Engineering, and a master's degree in Information Technology.
