Bassem Hussein

Bassem Hussein is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Technical Lead at Polestar since November 2022, Bassem is responsible for the daily execution and planning within the digital team, focusing on coordination, delegation, and obstacle removal. Previous positions include Lead Software Engineer at Adfenix AB, Consultant Unit Manager and Technical Lead at Nexer Group, and Senior Software Engineer/Architect at both Nexer Group and Västra Götalandsregionen. Bassem's earlier career includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Basetool® and Software Engineer at PC LINK. Bassem holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering and Management from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science from Mansoura University.
