Weina Du is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Volvo Cars, Weina has previously held significant positions such as Head of Science and Research and Deputy Head of Science and Research at Sentient.io, as well as Data Scientist roles in multiple companies including Independents, where Weina co-founded and served as CTO. Weina co-founded invenio AI and was a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First. Educationally, Weina holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Science from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in Computational Chemistry from the State Key Laboratory of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry at Jilin University in China.
