Christian Schilz has over 30 years of work experience in the banking and finance industry. Christian started their career at Deutsche Bank in 1991, where they held the position of Senior Marketing Manager and later became the Head Office Private Banking Germany. Christian then joined Delbrück & Co. Privatbankiers as the Head of Corporate Communications and Coordinator for Wealth Management. In 1998, they moved to Dresdner Bank AG, where they served as the Head of Investment Products, Head of Sales, and Managing Director for Private & Investment Clients. In 2000, they returned to Deutsche Bank as the Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Sales for Private Banking Germany. Christian later became a Member of the Management Team for the Region Ruhrgebiet-West. In 2004, they joined Vontobel as the Managing Director and Head of Corporate Marketing. Christian then transitioned to become the Head of Corporate Responsibility at Vontobel, where they currently hold a position.
Christian Schilz graduated with a Master's degree (Diplomkaufmann) in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Financial Management, from the Universität Trier in the period from 1986 to 1991. Christian also attended the University of Northern Colorado's Graduate School from 1987 to 1989, focusing on Marketing, Consumer behavior, and Finance. Prior to these academic pursuits, Christian obtained a Professional Certificate in wholesaling and foreign trade from Alwitra KG Klaus Göbel from 1983 to 1985. In 1982 to 1983, they served in the German Federal Armed Forces as a member of the 3rd Signal Battalion 960.
