Jason Pinger

Jason Pinger has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Jason is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Vor Bio since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at 2seventy bio as a Scientist II from November 2021 to January 2023. Jason also gained valuable experience at bluebird bio, where they served as a Scientist II from April 2020 to November 2021 and as a Scientist I from September 2018 to April 2020.

Before their roles in the industry, Jason pursued their graduate studies at The Rockefeller University. As a Graduate Student from August 2011 to June 2018, they focused on understanding the mechanisms used by the unicellular parasite Trypanosoma brucei to evade its host's immune response. Additionally, Jason worked as a Research Technician at The University of Chicago from January 2010 to June 2011, where they contributed to the development of synthetic antibodies using phage-display directed evolution technology.

Jason's early career involved volunteering as a Lab Technician at CEADES Bolivia and Sustainable Bolivia from January 2009 to December 2009. Overall, Jason Pinger has a strong scientific background and expertise in diverse research areas.

Jason Pinger completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Immunology at The Rockefeller University from 2011 to 2018.
