Kiara M.

Kiara M. is a Mechanical Engineer and Product Development Associate at Vorbeck since June 2022, where responsibilities include project management, mechanical design for wearable communication devices, computational modeling using Solidworks, and developing prototypes through various rapid prototyping methods. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech College of Engineering, conducting research on mechanical metamaterials and instructing students on heat transfer experiments. Kiara has also completed internships at L3Harris Technologies, assisting in unmanned aerial vehicle development, and has held various roles as an undergraduate researcher in both the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Physics at Virginia Tech. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, with a minor in Industrial Design.
