Amir Khayat has a vast work experience spanning multiple years and companies. Amir started their career with the Israeli Defense Forces, where they worked for three years before moving to the private sector. Amir then worked as a software developer for TACT and later as an independent consultant, where they served as a product architect and software developer. Amir joined Portnox Security in 2010, where they took the lead role in software engineering and worked with Agile development methodologies.
In 2012, they joined NICE Systems, where they climbed up the ladder, starting as a field engineer, field engineering team lead, and eventually, a sales engineer. Amir was responsible for leading the pre-sales technological process for prospects and existing clients worldwide, managing demos, POCs, presentations, professional consulting, directing the company RFXs, pipeline, and deal review management meetings, including pricing and P&L.
In 2015, Amir joined Cyberbit as Sr. Sales Engineer, followed by Demisto in 2016. Amir played two roles at Demisto, starting as a Sales Engineering Leader and then a Director of Solutions Architecture. While at Demisto, Amir managed the deployment of the company's various products, worked with R&D to define deliverables, roadmaps, and accompanying documentation to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
In 2019, Amir joined Palo Alto Networks as Director of Solutions Architecture, where they excelled and was soon promoted to Senior Director, Global Solutions Architecture, before leaving in mid-2022. Recently, Amir co-founded Vorlon, where they are currently serving as CEO and Co-Founder.
Amir Khayat obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Reichman University, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Amir then pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which they completed from 2011 to 2013.
