Kelsey Tanner

Kelsey Tanner CA(SA), CFA, currently serves as the Director of Finance & ESG at Vortex Capital Partners since October 2023. Prior to this role, Kelsey held the position of Finance & Portfolio Manager at Dutch Founders Fund from August 2022 to October 2023, and worked as an Investment Associate at Sail Ventures from November 2019 to August 2022. Kelsey's previous experience includes consulting at Deloitte Nederland, serving as a Senior Analyst in Africa Private Equity at RisCura, and working as a Senior Accountant and Valuation Specialist at KPMG South Africa. Kelsey began the career as an Audit Trainee at Deloitte South Africa. Academic qualifications include a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, along with a Bachelor of Business Science (CA) in Accounting and Finance. Kelsey successfully completed all levels of the CFA program on the first attempt.
