Filip Ibl

Filip Ibl has a diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as a Junior Developer at CN Group CZ s.r.o., where they focused on automated testing in Java. In 2016, they interned at the Open University of Tanzania in the Assistive Technology Unit. Filip then returned to CN Group CZ s.r.o. in 2017 as a Full Stack Developer, where they developed a static site generator for a web version of a German magazine. From 2019 to 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Windy, developing various components for a web application. In 2020, they joined VOS.health as a Backend Engineer, where they wrote microservices in TypeScript and Python and implemented scaling techniques for the mobile application's backend. Filip also worked on optimizing data processing for PostgreSQL databases and developed machine learning and AI features. In 2013, Filip co-founded a non-profit organization called ProStředoškoláky, z.s., which supports high school extracurricular activities and has helped over 5,000 students find their professional path. Filip developed program websites and secured funding for the organization, and currently serves as an advisor.

Filip Ibl completed their education with the following chronological history. Filip pursued a Master of Science - MSc with Distinction in Computer Science at the University of Southampton from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energetics, and Management from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, from 2014 to 2018.

During their bachelor's program, Filip participated in an exchange program at Swansea University in 2016 and 2017, where they studied electrical engineering. Furthermore, they attended Gymnázium Oty Pavla from 2008 to 2014 for their secondary education, with a focus on general studies.

In terms of additional certifications, Filip obtained an IELTS certificate with an overall score of 7.5 from Cambridge Assessment English in January 2018. Additionally, they acquired a First Certificate in English from the British Council in June 2013.
