Felipe Gaitan

Felipe Gaitan is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering sectors. Currently serving as an Engineer at Vow since January 2023, Felipe has held notable positions at SpaceX from August 2017, including Lead Turbomachinery Engineer and Starship Propulsion Engineer. Prior experience includes a Senior Engineer role at Eaton and participation in the Clean Energy Leadership Institute as a Clean Energy Leadership Fellow. Felipe's early career featured leadership in project management with Engineers Without Borders, internships at CB&I, Urban Green Energy, and the Ecologic Institute in Berlin, and academic roles as a tutor and researcher at Duke University. Felipe holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University, along with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and Technische Universität Berlin, respectively.
