Iman Pouya has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Founder of Nebulr since February 2021. Before this, they co-founded Voxo in 2015. Prior to that, they founded BrightLabs AB in 2014, where they developed the first product called HomeMaker for the construction and property development industry. In the same year, they founded HomeMaker with the vision of helping construction companies provide services to their HomeBuyers.
From 2011 to 2015, Iman worked as a PhD student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, studying Ligand Gated Ion Channels using Molecular simulations and being a Core Developer of Copernicus. In 2011, they also became a part owner of BinaryBio AB, a Swedish company based in Stockholm, where they served as a Technical Lead responsible for the product "Cores".
Lastly, Iman started their career as a Software Engineer at Ticketmaster in 2007, where they developed the web booking system used in Nordic countries, Netherlands, and Canada, collaborating with teams from various locations.
Iman Pouya pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Biology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015, although the degree remains incomplete. Prior to this, Iman obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. No specific start or end year for the Master's degree was provided.
